Lutfunnahar Piki’s story is one of determination, endurance, and empowerment. Piki began writing poems as a hobby from class nine. She joined the National Board of Revenue (NBR) as a BCS cadre officer after graduating from Dhaka University with a degree in Economics. Piki obtained a Master’s degree from York University in Canada and later moved to Australia to pursue a PhD in Economics at Monash University in Melbourne. Her husband’s unwavering support prompted her to release “Otoppor” in 2019. She went under the pen name Lutfunnahar Piki and published novels and short stories on the lives and challenges of women in Bangladesh.
