As a frustrated customer looking for the perfect innerwear, Monoshita Ayruani founded SHAPE Industries Limited; a company that promotes body positivity and diversity in women’s innerwear. This innovative idea stemmed from the thoughts she shared with millions of women in Bangladesh, who faced a dilemma when shopping for innerwear. Ayruani began her career as an intern copywriter and worked her way up at Webable Digital, a digital marketing company. While studying journalism at ULAB, she gained 8 years of diverse experience working with customers ranging from corporate enterprises to international NGOs. As a result of her entrepreneurial drive, she and her partner founded SHAPE in 2019. She rules digital marketing and customer service, lecturing on size consultations and promoting women’s discussions in her Facebook group, ‘Girl Talk by SHAPE.’ In 2022, SHAPE was selected for the 6-month Stanford Seed Spark incubation program.
