Architect Afsana Luqman had the privilege of visiting the DU campus when she was in school. It was then that she desired to someday study in the hallowed halls of BUET and become an architect. She now not only practices architecture, but she seems to have ingrained it into her entire persona – which is reflected in each and every design that she creates. One of her most notable works is “Maayer Achol” , a heritage home converted into a modern vacation house for the entire extended family. She successfully incorporates typical architectural elements in a transformative way that makes her work shine.
